A HPDE Track Day at Eagle Canyon Raceway is planned for the Lone Star Corvette Club November 4, 2017.  Eagle Canyon will have a group just for women including classes and track time with instructors.

Here is the catch; to keep this a “Club ONLY event”, LSCC needs commitments from a minimum of 35 drivers (men & women).  LSCC needs 12 to 15 Ladies to make the “Girls only” group work.  The price will be (as of now) $200 per person and includes water, sports drinks, and snacks during the day plus lunch.  We will run beginner, experienced, instructors, and women sessions.  If we have enough demand (12 to 15 drivers) for a touring group, Eagle Canyon will rearrange the groups to make a touring group possible.  The desire is to have a rotation of four groups to give us at least five run sessions for each run group.

November 4 is penciled on the track calendar for our event; $200 each for 35 drivers is the breakeven point for the track rental, which is why commitments are needed to make this work.  We can have our club helmets on hand at the track for those who may need one.  At this point, Mike is going to say it will be drivers only on track, no passengers (track instructors only), everyone will need a helmet on track, and Rag Tops are OK to run in the beginner group.  We can probably do parade laps during lunch; passengers OK and no helmets requires….but it will be at 35 MPH.
